Perspectives on Molecular-Level Understanding of Thermophysics of Liquids and Future Research Directions

Abstract This article provides the author's perspectives on current molecular-level understanding of thermophysical properties and transport processes in liquids. After illustrating peculiarities some common liquids using experimental data their specific heat, thermal conductivity, viscosity, moves with a summary existing molecular pictures theoretical approaches liquids, followed elaborations different models developed for viscosity. The review shows that is still poor tools to study them are not well developed. personal views author what missing theories.
